Judy Day

Judy has enjoyed drawing and painting since her early years but didn't take is up seriously until 1983 when, at Sheffield Art College, she completed a two year course of study leading to an Art Through Textiles Diploma. As a needlework teacher in secondary schools, she diverted her interest to teaching an art biased subject rather than dressmaking. On retirement, the painting side took over and now she has a lot more time to devote to her artistic skills. For some years now, Judy has exhibited, with some success, at The Great Sheffield Art Show, Art in the Park, and other local exhibitions.
